Region and International Resources for
Chapter Programs and Members

If you are a chapter leader and need assistance with either setting up a local accreditation program or supporting members who want to pursue accreditation as part of their professional development, the Southern Region and International organizations can provide resources to help accomplish either of these. To help your chapter and its members with accreditation, the Southern Region Accreditation Chair can:

• Visit your chapter (or arrange visit by another accredited member) to promote understanding among chapter leaders and members.
• Provide processes for accreditation promotion to generate interest.
• Guide chapters on recruiting an “accreditation liaison” for chapter boards.
• Help set up a program to assist members as they work toward earning their accreditation, using Region and/or International resources.
• Work with your chapter to set up an accreditation testing session at Region Conference.
